Working in West London, particularly in a conservation district, is like walking a tightrope. Balancing project demands with local tradition involves a delicate balance of respect, accuracy, and creativity. The Cinders St Johns Wood project presented us with such a challenge.
When SEI accepted this assignment, it realised it had to preserve the surroundings’ integrity and tradition while bringing the envisioned fit-out to life. We took a methodical approach, ensuring that every decision, from the materials used to the design details, was in keeping with the conservation area’s concept.
